Congratulations to Australian Outdoor Living, winning gold in the 2018 SPASA Awards. Australian Outdoor Living have won the gold in the best fibreglass pool and spa combination category. They have won this award installing our latest shape the “Brooklyn”. The Brooklyn pool shape comes in a couple different sizes 7.6, 9.6, 12.2. The gold winning Brooklyn was a 9.6 metres long and colour was our vibrant Royal Blue. Congratulations once again to Australian Outdoor Living.

One of our best-selling pools is the strikingly designed Manhattan, which has won multiple national Swimming Pool and Spa Association of Australia (SPASA) Awards for its practicality and design. It’s photographed here, installed in the garden of a house in Mount Hawthorn in WA. This pool is 7.5m by 4.4m in size and is one of our most popular fibreglass pools. As you can see, the Manhattan pool blends seamlessly into the small, narrow garden and the surrounding landscape. Engineered into this pool installation are concrete piles which also form a footing for the large water feature and flower bed.

The Playford's’ home in Mosman Park underwent a major renovation more than five years ago, but it wasn’t until recently that the project was completed with the backyard that is the icing on the cake. The family said its original backyard was not very functional and the installation of a pool was always planned, but with small children, the idea remained on the back-burner for a more suitable time. Today, they have an outdoor living space that is the envy of all their friends with a spacious outdoor deck area, large pool and outdoor movie screen.

Barrier Reef Pools WA has taken home all the trophies in the Lap Pool category at the recent SPASA WA Awards for Excellence. Brad and the team took out Gold, Silver and Bronze in the category with 3 magnificent 12m Lap Pools. Another Gold SPASA award-winning Fibreglass pool project featuring a classic European look in Maylands. The homeowners wanted the pool to be flexible to facilitate a variety of uses while being the focal point of the backyard. With a strong idea of the overall look they wanted to achieve, the homeowners worked closely with Barrier Reef Pools Perth to bring their vision to life. Measuring 8.5m x 4.4m, the pool is taken from Barrier Reef Pools Perth’ Venetian range, providing timeless style and a generous swimming space. The pool’s ‘Pacific Shimmer’ interior is complemented by basalt rebated coping.    

Australians’ love affair with all things Bali is very much evident in the landscaping and design of many modern swimming pools. Darker pool interiors, lots of stone and the popular cabana appear constantly and frequently win prizes at the annual Swimming Pool and Spa Association awards of excellence. The gold award for fibreglass swimming pools under $40,000 went to Barrier Reef Pools with an East Fremantle entry displaying a strong Balinese theme.
